It’s official: Atlanta residents still love their coupons
. According to a new report from Coupons.com, Atlanta is the most frugal city in the nation based on digital coupon usage statistics. Savvy shoppers don’t just print coupons from the Web, though; Atlanta residents are also turning to their mobile devices to save money via the Coupons.com app. Atlanta also topped the list of the Most On-the-Go Frugal U.S. Cities.
The vast majority of the cities on the 2011 Most Frugal Cities list are in the eastern part of our nation with Phoenix and Seattle being the only two cities west of the Rockies appearing on the list. While a Southern city takes the top spot this year, the Midwest is most heavily represented. In fact, Ohio cities earned three of the top 25 spots.
So what type of coupons might these frugal Atlanta shoppers be using? Right now Coupons.com customers can receive a free American Greetings card with the purchase of two greeting cards, a great coupon to save money on St. Patrick’s Day cards. Other coupons available on the site now include a Dish Network discount offer, savings on vitamins and even coupons for Twentieth Century Fox Blu-Ray movies.
Are you a coupon user? If so, do you take advantage of digital and mobile coupon apps?
