October is kids free month in San Diego. More than 100 partners are participating in this event, which allows kids to eat, stay and play free for the entire month of October. This Kidvasion event makes San Diego the perfect spot for an inexpensive family vacation.
The San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau website features an entire section dedicated to free kids activities and opportunities this month. Site visitors can search offers by valid date, activity type, hotel type and region.
All of the big-name attractions are participating in Kids Free San Diego including the Birch Aquarium at Scripps, LEGOLand California
, the San Diego Zoo, the USS Midway Museum and of course, SeaWorld San Diego.
If arts and culture are more your speed, there are plenty of free kids activities to choose from. The LUX Art Institute, Museum of Making Music and the Coronado Museum of History and Art are just a few of the 35 museums participating in this theme.
