After President Obama’s budget speech at George Washington University, Brian Deese with the National Economic Council hosted a live question-and-answer question. The session focused on the items brought up during Obama’s speech as well as other items related to the fiscal future of our nation.

The president’s speech was streamed live on YouTube’s CitizenTube channel, which allowed viewers to submit questions to Deese. Topics covered during the 30-minute session include the cost of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as well as other overseas military operations, tax code reforms and funding for education.
