Watch: Is the housing market finally recovering?
The housing market in D.C. is hot but a nationwide recovery might also be underway.

When the housing market
crashed, it affected the majority of the nation’s large housing markets. Here in Arizona, the bubble was artificially high and so the subsequent burst was nearly catastrophic to the market in general. The housing market here is improving, which is good news for the nation because Arizona was one of the hardest hit states during the crash. However, the folks in Washington, D.C. are seeing a real recovery with sellers in a position to raise prices instead of lower them.
