A growing number of Americans are moving into tiny homes to save money and simplify their lives. Some of the houses are small enough to to fit into the average living room, and they’re a surefire way to spend less. For example, the Tumbleweed Tiny House Company designs and builds small quality homes that can be hooked up to public utilities for a fraction of the price of buying a full-sized home. The houses cost $40,000 to $50,000 ready-made, but can cost half as much if you build it yourself.
