If you've landed on this page, it's because you're eager to learn more about the new research panel being supported by Mother Nature Network. Here's the skinny:

What is 1Q?

1Q is an innovative research firm with sustainability at its heart. At 1Q, companies send them questions, they get them to their subscribers, and those followers get paid instantly. This way, companies can ask questions to a particular group of people and subscribers can get money for giving them their response. One question equals one dollar.  Sounds great, right?

Why is MNN partnering with 1Q?

We love our readers! And we know they have opinions. 1Q is an easy way for readers to voice their ideas and opinions to start change. And you can keep the money you earm or donate it to a charity of your choice.

What sorts of questions will I be asked?

It varies. It could be about products you currently use ("do you buy recycled goods?") or items you're considering ("when buying your next car, is an electric or hybrid car a possibility?"). In every case, there's only one question...and there are no wrong answers.

When will I get my first question? And, more importantly, how many will I get?

Our customers pick the who, what, when, where, why, and how often. That means you might not get a question right away. There are ways to increase the numbers of questions you’ll get. though. Visit the folks at 1Q to learn more.

Do I need a smartphone?

Nope! But you do need a text-enabled phone. Just sign up online and we’ll send you text messages.

How do I get paid?

PayPal. You answer, they deposit, you get the confirmation. See? It’s that easy. 1Q sends payments to PayPal based on the e-mail address you registered with, so if your PayPal is set up to a different e-mail, go to your “about-me” page and change your e-mail address.

I filled out a lot of personal information, will you ever give that away?

Nope! Not unless legally required.

How do I get started?

Just go to MNN's custom page at 1Q and there's a quick five-minute set-up. Have additional questions? Write us at Contact@MNN.com and we'll help you out.

Thanks for being a friend of Mother Nature!
