The JCPenney free haircut offer launched in August was a resounding success with more than 1.6 million free back-to-school haircuts given to students. The retailer is following that offer with another free event by hosting a free family photo month.

During the month of November, the 530 JCPenney Portrait Studios will be offering customers a free holiday photo. The offer includes sitting fees, a printed 8x10 portrait as well as a digital copy to share with others.

Customers who wish to turn their new family photo into a greeting card can do so at a discounted price of only $0.50 per 4x7 card if more than 36 cards are ordered. This offer is valid for a single pose only.

Holiday season is already a busy time for JCPenney Portrait Studios; I remember spending more than an hour in the studio in November 2001 having my son’s first Christmas photos taken. If you’re interested in taking advantage of this free offer, my advice is to call your local JCPenney Portrait Studio and book your appointment today as times will surely fill up quickly.
