I came across an instructional video today that just made me laugh. The video includes nine green office tips. There are a few things in the video that make me believe it is supposed to have a humorous slant but one part really gave me the giggles -- the recommendation to take reusable plastic containers to work.

 

Now I’m all for reusable containers -- we have our own fair share in this house -- but plastic isn’t typically on my list of eco-friendly choices.  I know that some plastics are less toxic than others, but I prefer the stainless steel containers that come with bamboo utensils for lunch on the go.

 

Other than the plastic container suggestion, the rest of the video does provide quick and easy tips that employees can use to green their office routine.
