If you're familiar with the banana, you'll have noticed its natural, very durable, already-existing wrapper: its peel. So, to many, wrapping it with plastic seems ludicrous. What do you think? Waste of plastic? The plastic will actually decrease waste because the fruit won't go bad as quickly?
