The Al Gore's Alliance for Climate Protection has been struggling from day 1 with its "rebranding" of the climate crisis. As I've blogged before, their huge marketing investment has not been paying off.

So it's great to see a change of direction in the campaign. With it's new video PSA "Hot & Cold" the ACP uses an MTV-style animated piggy bank to explain the link between the economic recession and climate change, and how capping the "carbon pollution loophole" will help the economy by funding much needed R & D and climate mitigation measures.
