Cash for caulking?
Cars. Home appliances. Now, weatherizing home improvements might be considered under a government-funded “cash for …” type of incentive program. Twin proposals, dubbed “cash for caulkers,” have been separately submitted to the White House by venture capitalist John Doerr and by former president Bill Clinton.

Thank you Mike, I thought nobody else noticed that very fact. My question is what about the rest of us that did all of these upgrades to our homes years ago to save money and the environment. cash for caulkers
Is this program finally going to help those of us stuck in the middle? I make $4000 too much to qualify for weatherization assistance, but due to very high utility rates and a mortgage in NY, I don't have enough savings to pay up front for weatherization. There are all kinds of programs for low income families and the rich don't have to worry about freezing. I am paying taxes to support the rich and poor. What the hell am I supposed to do??
