Thanks for reporting the facts and not adding specious comments about various old religious ideas that add nothing to our knowledge about and/or understanding of ourselves, our galaxy, or anything else in this universe. I find it hard to believe that our ancestors (who all thought they lived on a small flat world sitting still at the center of a small universe that revolved around them daily) could have any insight, much less knowledge about why our universe began, what causes it to expand, how old it is, or ... really ... anything else of substance. The ultimate irony? The guy who proved our universe is expanding (George LeMaitre) was a Catholic Monk who taught math to youngsters - so after centuries of teaching that a single god created all of our universe - a Catholic math teacher proved that (1) Einstein was right and (2) our universe all began at a single point at a specific time in the past (which can be calculated using Einstein's Theory of Relativity and the observed speed with which our universe is, ahem, expanding). Just saying. And thanks for all the fish.
To which God are you

To which God are you referring?  Allah, Vishnu, Yahweh, or, closer to home, the Great Spirit?  There is a plethora of single Gods our ancestors have 'worshipped,' but they were ALL preceded by the multiple gods of our varied Stone Age ancestors.  The notion of a "single" god is the new kid on the block, theologically speaking, and it first appeared in Egypt when Ackhenaton proclaimed the demise of all the old Gods and, instead, announced the existence of a single God (Ra, the Sun God) that he, and he alone, could communicate with.  And our more recent ancestors have come up with a variety of ideas about the name, nature, and purpose of a Single God since then, too.  So what god, pray tell, are YOU referring to?  Signed - Curious in Austin Texas

I've heard from men who travelled from earth to the moon (and seen their photos) that both agree with and confirm the notion that we are indeed "floating in space on some aquarium earth." You can find that on Google Images, too.  So what reasons do you have that are so "obvious" that made you write your 'Real Deal Man of Steel' comment?  As Ricky told Lucy, 'you got some 'splaining to do.'
