Such a typical attack on an insignificant detail is simply a common tactic of attempting to disjoin the bigger argument. The larger issue is that Inhofe's book is more of his typical climate denial jargon. It's clear that his special interest is attempting to protect the polluters who fund his campaigns: http://sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=James_M._Inhofe
Mr. Inhofe is the one who owes an apology; to the millions of children who have asthma and other health issues, and will have to continually deal with the problems of pollution and climate change due to his consistent attacks on the EPA and the clean air act in order to protect his special interests such as the Koch brothers. In ten years, this man will be regarded as one of the major reasons that this issue wasn't handled the way it should have been, and Oklahomans will wish they'd seen through his deceptions.
