I don’t give my dog any
Fri, Aug 10 2012 at 2:13 PM
I don’t give my dog any people food just to be sure. Someone gave him food at a party we had last month that he could not digest, and I had to take him to the vet. I know veggies are good for dogs so I just buy him Delectable Delights stews where you can see them in the gravy. My rule of thumb is stick to a trusted natural brand like Natural Balance and you don’t have to worry.
If you’re going to spend

If you’re going to spend money on your pet, invest it into his food. That’s my opinion. You can rescue a dog from a shelter and he will love you just as much as a dog you pay top dollar for, but if you’re not giving him the right nutrition, like feeding something healthy like Natural Balance Ultra or some premium food with meat as the first ingredient, you’ll run into problems with their health. It’s not expensive to feed them well either.
The biggest health struggle
Wed, Apr 25 2012 at 1:49 PM
The biggest health struggle with my girl Callie was obesity. I’m so glad my vet pointed this out to me few years ago or else I might not still have her with me today. She’s seventeen now and not fat anymore. I think getting her off the grocery store brand food and putting her on Natural Balance reduced-calorie Ultra is what helped her lose the weight safely while she still got optimum cat nutrition.
