Those two in the picture?

Those two in the picture? Wendy the cat was just 6 wks at the Chamberlayne Shelter when my son decided he wanted a "kitty" when his older sister moved out and when we took him there, we had a super sweetie pie white Spitz-Sheltie who had become eaten up with cancer which I had to sadly have the duty to have her put down so when he found his kitty, I said I was going to check out the dogs and I walked into the "dog cages" 2 up and down" and there she was all of 26 pounds and they were going to put her down the very next day! I said "Oh no you're not! You're gonna stick a sold sign on her and I'll be back to pick her up tomorrow at 9am!" That was way back in Nov. 2000 just before the election, they are still "sisters" today at our home and still can't figure out which is dog or cat! Doing great in Chesterfield, VA!
This is exactly why I said I

This is exactly why I said I couldn't believe this happened in my native home town of Atlanta, GA! If I had been any of those neighbors, I'd have called Animal Control or the Police the first week I'd have noticed something amiss! All these idiots involved shouldn't ever own an animal or be allowed to be around an animal ever again!
I know hogs can be vicious

I know hogs can be vicious but my God didn't anybody hear screams of pain and agony?! I can't comprehend how this happened and he didn't get heard from screaming, The way this happened, it makes it sound like the hogs turned into domestic hog-piranhas!!! GROSS! And so very sorry for the family's loss.

I LOVE horses! Not able to be around them much but I love reminiscing about the days I used to ride growing up in Atlanta with my buddy "Freddie" (short for Frederica) and Freddie if you're out there somewhere I'd LOVE to connect with you! Look me up on www.facebook.com/barbaraplunkettturner and yes that's with 3 t's. I also love my sweetie pie Beagle-Walker Hound Josey (in the pic with our son's cat Wendy) and we adopted them the same weekend Nov. 2000 and they've been sisters ever since! They were at the Richmond SPCA then and in their respective sections but when we got them home, they sniffed each other & apparently thought "hey, we came from the same place! We must be sisters!" I enjoy gardening, photography, my 4 wonderful awesome grandkids and enjoy baking. I've also written a song to be used for our Virginia State Song and over 3,000 others.   UPDATE:  Well, that beautiful gorgeous Beagle-Walker Hound pictured in my profile shot with her housemate cat Wendy(we adopted them from the same shelter the same weekend, they sniffed the place on each other & instantly thought "Hey, we're sisters!) well - My awesom sweet dog Josey got severe kidney disease and they shut down, actually this all started last year this same time, we bought her a year and it caved in Feb. when she got to vomiting (a key sign of the disease) and started dehydrating, we bought her 2 weeks of rehydration with heavy antibiotic shot and sadly I had to put her down April 26, this year.  I have her ashes and am going to make a glass encasement memorial for her but it's just not the same.  I miss her soooooo much.  So if you're ever in my town and see a tag that says MS MYJSY, you'll know it's me.  Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.  See you later baby, at the Rainbow Bridge!  Have fun with all those butterflies, squirrels, bunnies and deer! LOL
