We have a historic home and feature Farm-To-Table Dinners that support our local farmers. I couldn't agree more with how important it is for communities to support local business by also understanding that local and state policies need to be updated to embrace the unique challenges to conducting these kinds of businesses. We also support our local food co-op and farmer markets which struggle to compete with large supermarkets for the consumers hard-to-come-by dollars in this economy. More sharing of information and sitting down to a meal of locally harvested and raised food is a great way to do that.
