God's Word
Thu, Dec 02 2010 at 3:54 PM
I hope you took history. For the Bible might be God's word but we all know that the testaments and all other books with put together but human beings. Hence many contradictions between stories. The again most people don't know that. Or let alone care about it. They just pick the verses they think will help their argument than actually try to be good people and love thee neighbor.
Cast the first stone...

Well I didn't know that I was talking to God. I doubt you are the most righteous person. No one is. That is why we all go to church to tell ours sins and ask for God's love and mercy. I go to church and ask that and not judge anyone for I have no place to judge. I also try to stick to Jesus' two greats commandements: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind" and "Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
Shame on you.

I really think that's a very homophobic comment. It is train of thoughts like this that gives way to many of our young LGBT population in taking their own life. I think it's a horrible thing when our society cannot protect the most vulnerable: the youth. Shame on you. I hope you find your closet and stay in there. Maybe then you can feel how it is for many young LGBT teens.
