Danny Martinez currently attends J.M. Hanks High School in El Paso, Texas.  He is an executive producer for the school news network. He is involved with student council. Through the council's energy & environment organization, Danny encourages other teens to be green. He was chosen as an Eco-Ambassador for The Weather Channel’s Forecast Earth’s Summit in 2007. Danny is also doing an internship at his local television station (KFOX) in the weather department to gain experience in the world of television. He helped build and create new graphics for the prime-time newscast. Danny’s hobbies consist of community service and anything to do with technology. He plans to pursue a career in broadcast meteorology or broadcast journalism.
