It is a drug and as such it affects differnt people differntly, just like aspirin or coffee. Add to that the subsequant effects often differ from the intial effect... In short, it's not for everyone, but it doesn't have a negatoive effect on everyone that uses it either.
So smuggling weed thousands

So smuggling weed thousands of miles accross borders controlled by drug cartels, resulting in thousands dead is preeferable ? These additional energy usage figures look suspicously padded. I'd guess the typical (as in national average) home grower just wants to produce enough for personal use and uses one, maybe 2 large wattage bulbs, It's the fact that its such a valuable product that prompts some into excessive energy use. All that would change if it were legal to grow enough in your back yard for personal use. Besides that the bi-products are valuable too, one of the strongest narural fibers, source of protien etc.. Did the prohibiton of alchohol work ? nope, not even close. but it sure got everyone dependant on oil.. even though Henry Ford designed the first automobiles to run on alcohol. Rockerfeller's oil companies profited big time.. conincidence ? Dupont's Nylon & polyester vs hemp fiber is the same exact thing. They can't beat it, so they donated and bribed to criminalize it.
