The gift certificate is enough to cover shipping

You just have to pay to ship the old bottle back, then they pay for the new shipping cost.
Not sure

I still have the bottle and the return label just sitting on my table, trying to decide. I hate to not get another one because then I would feel like I wasted that money + more money to buy another water bottle, so I will probably return it for another Sigg bottle with the Eco-liner.
same here

I emailed them asking about instructions to return, and got the same letter (of course) and I, too, was shocked at their attitude of, "Well, our bottles are just fine, but if you crazy concerned person want to return it, here's how you do it. And oh yes, you should probably stop brushing your teeth, answering your cell phone, and listening to CD's, too." haha. I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. I really loved my SIGG bottle, so maybe I will give them another chance.
