Eastin has promoted public awareness about the environment through visual and literary artwork, participated in various landscaping projects, and reduced paper consumption as a former chairman of the Neptune Festival Youth Art Show. As a student ambassador, Eastin has participated in restoration and maintenance projects abroad and helps with campus and local community environmental initiatives as a member of various college environmental groups and programs.
