I certainly hope his trip is successful. I have read of "Islands of junk" floating in the ocean because it didn't get put where it belongs. Making such waste useful as a form of energy might provide the incentive to be faithful in getting it to centers that can properly care for it. I have seen plastic tossed into a campfire. It burns very hot so it is obvious there is energy there to be harnessed. Here's hoping this endeavor starts a trend to keep plastic waste out of the environment.
