Hello both of you. I have been using this and I also have a top-loader. Just put it in the normal tray. Mine is a type that has water standing in the softener tray, so I pour a little vinegar and about the amount of conditioner that I use for my hair. I have not bothered with the mixing and the ratios yet, as I just wanted to try it to begin with. Just kept on. There is no danger and the vinegar if anything, is good for the washer. The concentration is so low, that it cannot damage. I am astounded at how good the clothes and towels feel. Even ironing is easier. My gym pants are all fluffy and soft as never before. I think the biggest advantage is the removal of the detergent remains.
