I don't think any of us that jump on MNN are really all that shocked to hear that Glenn Beck is upset about this. But somehow his antics continue to surprise us.

It's just too bad that Glenn Beck doesn't get as equally outraged about...

I stopped buying and eating bananas a long time ago. It really gets put in perspective when you compare the price of apples (local from oregon/washington) at about $2.00/lb to bananas (shipped thousands of miles from central and south america)...

Jessica Nape is currently a graduate student in International Studies and Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. After completing an internship at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Washington, D.C., and working on the Potomac Vegetable Farm — an "ecoganic" establishment situated just outside the city — Jessica solidified her dedication to environmental, international and humanitarian concerns by serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Madagascar. As a creative writer, she has contributed to the PVF Newsletter and continues to sharpen her skills here at MNN and on her own personal MySpace blog.
