It's very interesting but it's hardly proper "Tool use" is it? Show me an animal using a Capstan Lathe, or even a chainsaw, ands I'll be impressed. But not bits of twig, or rocks. They aren't tools, they're bit's of crap from the floor.
She might get more publicity if she put on her Mermaid's tail from the Movie "Splash", and got in the water with the Whales. Mind you, she might get accidently harpooned instead. Either way, it's all publicity for the poor old Whale, isn't it?
Any animal that is stupid enough to get on a bit of ice, and float off away from food, and water, is probably better off going extinct if you ask me.
