I teach genetics at the college level and I do not know a single geneticist who is not concerned about GMOs. Studies conducted in other countries have clearly demonstrated these "Frankenfoods" are a clear danger to human health. NO studies have been conducted to assess whether the inserted DNA sequences have created reading frame errors, nonsense or missense errors during protein synthesis - where genetics become reality. The GMOs that have been allowed to contaminate our food supply have NOT been evaluated for their long-term effects to the environment as well.
