Laura Early is a recent graduate of Clemson University in South Carolina. She majored in Biological Sciences, with minors in Journalism and Environmental Science and Policy. She loves to travel and be outdoors. One of her main goals is to inspire others to share her passion for nature. Laura was raised in the South Carolina upstate and graduated as salutatorian from James F. Byrnes High School in 2006. At Clemson, she is a member of Tigers for Tigers and National Mortar Board Honor Society.
 
For the summer, Laura is working with University of Florida's Fort Lauderdale Research and Education Center, helping to prepare materials for the Greater Everglades Ecosystem Restoration Conference.
