I've been an avid horse lover all of my life and got a chance to be a hot walker at the Del Mar track when I was a kid, I was in awe of the beauty of those horses and still am. It's sad to see what he racing industry has become. It seems and image of everything else thats going on these days-money over everything, get rich no matter what. The racing industry has been on a downard spiral since big big money has infiltrated it. I wonder if Man-O-War had steroids or pain killers? I don't know but it's time racing got back to basics. The bare basics. It won't change until we change our values. What ever happened to honesty and integrity? Pushed to the bottom of the money pit I think.
