I'm baffled that this was possible. How did the egg get in her abdominal muscle? Glad it worked out well, and I hope the whole family is happy and healthy!

I am lucky that moth my high school and my college (Kenyon College, Ohio) support battery recycling programs. (lots of calculator batteries there! You may want to contact schools in your area to see if they take batteries for recycling!
3 ticks this year
Tue, May 31 2011 at 3:39 PM
I found two ticks on me so far, and one as it crawled across my laptop keyboard. The first one i believe was from walking across a lawn at school and then sitting on my bed to do homework. the tick ended up on my bed and crawled up to bite right behind my ear. The other one may have been from a similar situation, though maybe the dog brought it this time. Just saying, anyone can get ticks, no matter how often you are outdoors. Also, don't sit on your bed before doing a tick check!
