I moved to this small town of Owego just over 2 1/2 years ago. My Sweetheart has terrible allergies. I've noticed while out and about, that local honey is sold at 2 of the local hardware stores, near the checkout areas. It's probably sold elsewhere around town. I'm going to pick up some and start feeding a tablespoon a day to my Girl, and see what happens. I may even give some to my dog. She scratches chronically, no skin issues, hair issues... her coat is beautiful... it's something internal... we've been working on her problem for years and have tried just about every food on the market and several restrictive veterinary diets to no avail. A tablespoon a day of local honey won't hurt her. If I see any improvements in either one of them... I'll post back to here.
