I started with tomatoes and green beans. Now I can't stop! Backyard gardening is rewarding in so many ways. Each year i try something new; this year it's heirloom tomatoes and peppers. They're growing like wildfire!
Leftover vegetables and a good homemade broth can make a fabulous soup. Add a few herbs, and it's even better. It reminds me of Stone Soup; a little of this, a little of that, and the entire village is fed.
I was thinking my rabbits would enjoy these! They also need to be put away at night so the owls and other hunters don't decide to eat them.
