This is a great cost-cutting

This is a great cost-cutting strategy. Roads can have terrible effects on the ecology due to their fragmentation of ecosystems, physical threat, introduction of invasive species, and noise/air pollution. As we begin to realize this asphalt calamity, we can find our solutions.
I wonder if we will ever see

I wonder if we will ever see a similar photo coming out of the US. Germany really seems to be very far ahead of the curve in terms of renewable energy and sustainable building. Their passivehaus building standard is far superior to the LEED standard that is popular in the US. And yeah, fracking is no bueno.
