Good luck. Sounds like a good project to, at least attempt. With this sort of thing---we are our own best motivators. Oh yes-----teach your children well at home the importance of all of this---and I mean all of it. We were given a beautiful ,clean, productive environment to enjoy and we have totally screwed up. lets ,at least , try to leave it s better place for our children and grandchildren.

those big houses for small families do take up a lot of energy. Solar panels seems to be the way to go so the power generated could be actually sold back to the individual cites, counties and states involved . Read about it. it is a very doable option for we Power greedy folks.
