We live on the 5th floor and something that really helped us recently was putting our dogs on a food that cut back on the number of times they have to move their bowels. They used to go up to five times a day, now they go about three times because the Synergy dog food has digestive supplements specifically for that. The Natural Balance food made our daily routine a little easier, as living in an apartment with an elevator can be a challenge with dogs sometimes!

Sometimes I’ve noticed in the past that my dogs eat less in the summer, probably because of the heat like you mentioned. I always make sure they have enough water, and if their appetite seems poor I will just get some of the Natural Balance dog food rolls and shred them over the kibble or in with their canned food. They will never turn this down and they are handy to keep around to entice the dogs to eat when you need them to eat. They have to be refrigerated after opening, FYI.
