If you want more fluoride,

If you want more fluoride, then ingest it. Many, many don't. Thyroid problems and other health issues are aggravated by fluoride. I personally know people who were in great pain and bedridden by fluoride. When they got it out of their water they got well. Why should those people have to deal with what hurts them because some want more of it? There is no viable rationale for adding medicine to water, even if it were proven to be good for many, which fluoride is not. If dental health needs to be improved, then work on dental health. Nearly all European countries outlawed adding fluoride decades ago, and their dental health improved as much as that in the US over those years.

Drinking and cooking water is only one of the sources for fluoride now. People drink it from canned foods including soups and sodas, many get it from toothpaste, and it's in lots of foods - and increasing because a great deal of it is being watered with fluoridated water. To suggest it is in a 'safe amount' in the water ignores this reality. What we get there is only a fraction of what is being ingested! AND there are MANY scientific studies showing the risks of ingesting fluoride - including at low levels! See www.fluoridealert.org. To suggest it is natural to add byproducts of manufacturing to our water supply is absurd. It is well known that people with thyroid problems need to avoid fluoride.
