William Reyes graduated from Saint Louis University in 1999 with a B.S. in aviation science.

After college, he became a naval offficer through Officer Candidate School at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida and served aboard USS Nassau as a deck and engineering officer.  During that time, he was deployed for both Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom.

Following his military service, William worked first as a flight instructor at Langley Air Force Base, as a jump pilot at Skydive Virginia, and later as a captain for Business Air.  In 2008, he joined Merrill Lynch and became a financial advisor.

William left Merrill Lynch in April 2010 to become an independent Financial advisor associated with Waddell and Reed.  Working with specialists in different financial disciplines, William offers clients a wide range of services including portfolio development, education plans, asset protection, insurance, and retirement plans with a specific emphasis on helping to assure a lifetime retirement income stream.

In addition, William is a leader in socially responsible investing.  Through diligent research, he is able to help clients develop a portfolio that reflects their values in areas such as environmental stewardship, equality, labor relations, community reinvestment, and corporate ethics.

William is a member of the Sierrra Club, the oldest, largest, and most influential grassroots environmental organization in the US.  He is also active in the Hampton Roads Comittee of 200+ Men, an organization that works to promote community betterment  in inner city neighborhoods throughout the Hampton Roads region.

William resides with his wife, Angel, and son William II in Chesapeake, Virginia.
