Eco-friendly Products
I don’t know about the rest of you, but with summer just around the corner — not to mention a stretch of beautiful weather here in NYC — I’ve been thinking about the outdoors an awful lot lately.

As things warm up over the coming weeks, I’ll be focusing on a seasonally special part of the home where the indoors and outdoors convene: the deck/patio area. Not everyone has one (including yours truly) but if you do, be sure to keep on checking back for my “All decked out” series of posts where I'll be tackling topics including eco-friendly outdoor furniture, patio planters, nontoxic wooden deck stains/treatments, green-ish ways to keep winged pests at bay while you lounge on the lanai, and more.

To kick things off, here’s a handful of items that should find a welcome home in any eco-accessorized back porch.

Summer is here and I am loving it! I have added a solar fountain to my deck and it gives me great pleasure to listen to the water trickling down from one bowl to the other. Oh, I happen to have a cascade solar fountain, but there are many other styles. Each solar fountain still offers the sounds of water giving a calming effect to any environment. Another great thing about a solar fountain is that there are no operating costs. You need only to be able to place the solar panel in the sun. No

need for electrical wires either giving you the option to place it in more places. You might want to check out solarproductsinc.com for a large selections of solar fountains. You will get excellent customer service. Happy Solar Fountain Day!
