Attention home decorators: If you're ever in doubt this summer, why not put a shark on it?

As all of you Great White groupies out there are probably already well aware, the countdown is officially on to the 25th anniversary of cable television's most nightmarish anticipated summer event: Shark Week. If you’re into watching apex predators bite, breach, and do what these big [skipwords]fish[/skipwords] do best  look scary (the rapid decline of many shark populations is even more scary)  I’m guessing you’ll be glued to the Discovery Channel starting on Aug. 12 at 9 p.m. Personally, I won't be tuning into programs such as "Air Jaws Apocalypse" or "Adrift: 47 Days with Sharks" as I suffer from a pretty gnarly case of selachophobia. And needless to say, I certainly won't be kayaking in the waters around Cape Cod any time in the near future.

Still, I know plenty of you out there do love yourself some surfer-chomping beasts so, like in 2010 and 2011, I’ve rounded up a handful of shark-y items for around the house to celebrate the return of Shark Week (YouTube personality Phil DeFranco is hosting this year). While all of these home accessories aren't necessarily handmade or made from eco-friendly materials (although several are), I’m guessing you serious shark nuts won’t mind too much.
