I have a confession to make. I’m an eco-friendly cleaning product junkie. I’ve tried out every product made by every brand meant for every task: method
Best in Glass, Arm & Hammer Essentials
Cleaner and Degreaser, Seventh Generation
Lavender Liquid Dish Soap, Mrs. Meyers
Lemon Verbena Countertop Spray, Clorox GreenWorks
Natural Bathroom Cleaner. You name it, I’ve probably given it a squirt or spray. You’d think from my arsenal of green cleaning accoutrement that I have a gang of unruly red sauce-loving, grease-flinging, accident-prone tykes running around a four-bedroom house. But I don’t. I’m responsible for all the spilt sauce, the grease covered oven, and the constant trips and tumbles in my two-bedroom apartment.
I was much appreciative when a knowing friend pointed me in the direction of Spring
, a San-Francisco-based purveyor of eco housewares. Although this brick and mortar store with an online presence sells a wide array of merch including an impressive selection of linens and textiles
and water bottles
, its focus is clearly is on everything green and clean: air purifiers (check out the paisley Air Pod
), dish soaps, home fragrance, cleaners, wipes, stain removers, and more. The brands? Shop for goodies from A-listers like Biokleen
, Mrs. Meyers
, and more.
Now off to check in on my arsenal…
