FRIENDS OF AL: Brooklyn fashion label Hayden-Harnett developed the limited-edition cotton canvas bag.
Name-dropping is completely appropriate when it’s for a good cause. Take, for instance, the Friends of Al tote from Brooklyn fashion label Hayden-Harnett. Inspired by “An Inconvenient Truth,” the designers Toni and Ben developed the limited-edition cotton canvas bag, which is printed with natural pigment dyes, to benefit global warming charities. For each bag purchased, the company will donate $25 to Stopglobalwarming.org and will plant ten trees through a donation to American Forests. So, go ahead, advertise your alliance with everyone’s favorite former vice president. After doing so much good, you’re allowed to brag a little.
