Two important food videos on Hulu

Two full-length movies that can change that way you think about food are now available to watch free through Hulu.

Mon, Apr 27 2009 at 10:10 AM EST

Do you know about Hulu yet? It's a popular online site that allows you to watch TV shows and movies legally on your computer. It's free, and there are a lot of worthwhile things on Hulu to watch. There are a few commercials, but it seems like no commercial break lasts more than 30 seconds.

On the movie end, there are two films about food that you might want to check out.

Super Size Me
Super Size Me is an Academy Award nominated documentary from 2004. The star and director of the film, Morgan Spurlock, spent one month eating only McDonalds food. The movie documents how this diet affected his physical and mental health. It also explores the influence that the fast food industry has on our diets and on our children.

 The Future of Food
The Future of Food is a 2007 documentary that investigates "the truth behind the unlabeled, patented, genetically engineered foods that have quietly filled U.S. grocery store shelves for the past decade." It looks at the market, corporate and political forces that are driving the changes in what we eat and looks for solutions to the problem in organic and sustainable agriculture.

The last little bit of the movie that showed the deterioration of the different foods forever turned me off of fast food fries
