For the first time, I'm going to be starting my garden early in the season. In the past, I've waited till the danger of the last frost was over. I've been reading up and learning about what vegetables can be planted before the last frost recently, and I've decided to plant onions and some lettuces this weekend. 

 

I've never had much luck with root vegetables, but I'm not giving up. I've never tried onions before, but this video from expert village makes it look easy. I hope that's right. I'll let you know later in the summer if I'm successful.
