Watering a vegetable garden
Is it ever okay to water in the heat of midday? You may be surprised at the answer.
Thu, Apr 15 2010 at 10:59 PM
I’ve got two videos today that give advice about watering your garden. It may seem like a simple act – plants need water so give it to them. There are methods of watering, though, that make the watering most effective.

This first video from Expert Village answers questions like should you water in the morning or evening? What’s the best way to water without getting the foliage wet? And does watering in mid-afternoon sun ever do any good?

The second video from eHow addresses the type of device you might want to use to be gentle while watering your garden so you don’t wash anything important, like the seeds or plants, away.
