Kinda loud and very eco-proud

Give that Valentine's Day windsock a rest this year and let your green colors fly with the Green Pride Flag.

Mon, Feb 09 2009 at 10:31 AM EST

Looking for a way to show that you care about Momma Earth without hitting those around you over the head with your eco-views? The answer, my friends, is blowin’ in the wind…

Although Earth Day is a couple of months away, it’s never too early to let your green colors fly. Greensender’s new 3’ by 5’ Green Pride Flag ($50) is a subtle, inoffensive piece of exterior décor with a big message.

In recent posts, I’ve talked about keeping up with the Joneses when it comes to home energy efficiency and overall green living. The flag — composed of six horizontal bars of different shades of green — shows your neighbors that you care and also lets you retire those questionable seasonal windsocks. It's a win-win situation.

Are you kidding me. I went to the web site and they give no information on what the material is or were the flag is made. It looks like another oil based product made in China. 50 bucks for a two dollar item that will be flown once the stored in the garage until it is so dirty that its landfilled. Not very mother nature now is it?
