As you may very well know thanks to the deluge of somewhat annoying Andy Samberg commercials (bring back Mike Rowe!), this summer’s most terrifyingly titillating TV event that documents deeply misunderstood creatures equally feared and revered by beachgoers across the globe is nearly upon us: MTV’s Jersey Shore Season 4 Discovery Channel’s Shark Week.

If you’re into watching apex predators bite, breach and do what these big fish do best: look scary (the rapid decline of many shark populations is even more scary), I’m guessing you’ll be glued to your TV starting July 31.

Like last year, to celebrate the return of Shark Week, I’ve rounded up a handful of shark-y items for around the house ranging from pillowcases to salt and pepper shakers to Jonathan Adler sculptures (with somewhat terrifying price tags). While these items aren't necessarily made from sustainable materials, I’m guessing you serious shark nuts won’t mind too much. Just don't go, ahem, overboard or you're gonna need yourself a bigger house.
