Id like to point out that you all are arguing over random things! look at the title on the page "15 houseplants for improving indoor air quality" not if its poisonous to animals, or an invasive plant or not.

Funny, that's the only comment I've seen with 2 likes...lol Tho the smoke isn't good for your lungs...

Dizzy is correct. English Ivy is toxic to both dogs and cats. It's also toxic to horses.

No way I'd have one in my house.

Many rating systems dont rate plants based on what is worst, but what is highest priority, taking into account what is also feasible. English Ivy is one of those that can be so pervasive that it will never be controlled.
Find a different plant.

i think it can even root from discarded cuttings it is THAT invasive!!

As far as I know, this is toxic to pets, one probably WOULD NOT want to get this plant if they have pets.
