The projectUsing reclaimed wood created a challenge but was appropriate for the setting. The design brought together elements from other bins, while recognizing the constraints imposed on it by using wood re-milled on a table saw.
The lumber came from an old corral donated by Gina Purtell, the Audubon Sanctuary director at Allen's Pond. The wood was mostly white pine and cedar of irregular dimensions, with ample nails and water damage.
