An adorable Chilean flamingo chick was born on Sept. 29 at Himeji Central Park in Himeji, Japan. Chilean flamingos only lay one egg after each breeding season, and this one's pristine white feathers will not become fully pink until two or three years from now.

Both male and female flamingos can feed the baby with a nutritious substance that they produce with glands in their digestive tract. Now, it's the father flamingo's turn to feed the chick.
