Polar bear mother and cubs go for a swim

The last time we saw polar bear mama Giovanna and her adorable twins Nobby and Nela, the cubs had just made their first public debut following their birth last December at the Hellabrunn Zoo in Munich, Germany.

Now the nearly 7-month-old twins are experiencing their first summer! Far from the frosty sheet ice and harsh tundras of the Arctic Circle, this family is doing their best to cool off in the heat thanks to a new swimming pool enclosure built by the zoo.
