Over the years, Dutch photographer Roeselien Raimond (pictured below) has developed an uncanny talent for bringing out the whimsical personalities of the local red foxes.
It all started when she bought a 300mm Canon telephoto lens. This pivotal purchase is what allowed her to expertly document wildlife from a non-intrusive distance.
"I got addicted right away, and the main victims of my passion became foxes," she explains. "I loved and still love the huge element of surprise that comes with 'hunting' foxes."
Of course, Raimond doesn't only document the idyllic lives of foxes. Her other photographic subjects include everything from deer and rabbits to owls and hedgehogs.
"Although it’s quite a challenge to resist [foxes]," she writes, "I do my best to to pay attention to the uncountable other little miracles in my country as well."
You can see all of her photos of these wonderful creatures on her website. In the meantime, continue below to see more of her zen fox photography.
